Merseyside and Cheshire wedding photography package prices

To keep it nice and simple (because I'm allergic to faff), I offer just two packages.

One for shorter weddings and couples on a budget, and one for the whole day. The prices are there to keep everything transparent, so we all know where we stand you don't waste your time sending more emails than you need to.

Because every couple and every wedding is unique, the full day package isn't a set 8 or 10 hours - I start about 2 hours before the ceremony and finish once I've got enough dance floor coverage that I feel I can tell the whole story of your wedding day.

FAQ

How far will you travel to our wedding?

I'm based on the Wirral in North West UK, right on the border between Mersey and Cheshire - but I will travel to your wedding no matter where it is. Any location within a 2 hour drive from me is included in the package price, anything over this will require additional travel and/or accommodation costs.

Do you offer payment plans?

50% of the package price is paid at the point of booking to secure your wedding date. Then the remaining 50% is paid 4 weeks before your wedding. If you would like to do something different, we can talk about this, for sure!

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

The sooner the better, really! Most couples book me around 12 months before their wedding but one couple actually booked me 2 weeks before - so it's always worth asking! As soon as you book your venue - get in touch!

How are the photos delivered?

I will email you a link to an online gallery that lives right here in the Client Area of my website. It's password protected only you (and your pals) can view it and there is an additional PIN to download. You have full control over who can see/download them.

How long does it take to get our wedding photos?

Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos around 8 weeks after your wedding date. I'll share a small handful sneaky peaky shots on social media within a few days of the wedding and tag you or share as a collaborative post - this way the first photos you and your friends see will be amazing and not your mum's samsung phone camera photos - this is also reallllly beneficial for my business and a really important part of my marketing!

Do you edit the photos?

Absolutely. The analogy I use is that the RAW photo straight out of the camera is like having a load of lovely fresh ingredients - then editing is like cooking the meal and making it delicious.

I cull the 5000+ images down to a gallery of the best few hundred shots and then use Adobe Lightroom to retouch each one with my own preset and unique editing style. I'll crop and straighten, brighten, recolour and make any small Photoshop adjustments (like removing specs of lens dust etc).
All of this is done by me and I do not use AI to assist with any of it.

Are you insured?

I sure am. £2 million public liability and my gear is covered too.

You like black and white photos, hey?

I sure do. Many of the photos I take on the day are taken with the intension that they will be made black and white. Often a person's expression or a wicked moment can be overshadowed by the colours in an image and by removing this - it eliminates any distractions and really highlights the moment and the lighting.

Usually 1 in 10 of the images delivered will be black and white and these are intentional decisions made during shooting and during the edit.

Do we need to feed our photographer at our wedding?

Most people arrange a meal for me (and my second shooter if booked). We're there all day and butties don't do well in the car in the middle of summer so I do ask that we're fed please!

Will you bring a second photographer to our wedding?

If you want me to! I am more than happy to work alone and fully capable of covering a wedding by myself. However, for larger weddings or couples that want that little bit extra coverage - Will is my go-to guy and we've done loads of weddings together. I have other contacts too if he is unavailable. A second shooter is £350 in addition to your photography package and all the images are still edited by me.

Will you be able to stay for the party?

The amount of hours I'm at your wedding depends on the package you choose but the actual start and end times are up to you! The full day package covers getting ready through to dancing but if you're on a budget but the party is most important - I can start later in the day. If you want to change your package after booking - that's fine. If you want to bolt on an extra hour or two on the day - also fine!

Can I add an engagement shoot to the package?

Hell yeah. It's £450 and can be added to any package. Just let me know when we talk!

What will you wear to our wedding?

I usually dress as comfortably as I can get away with while still looking presentable - chinos, shirt and converse is standard for me. As the job is pretty physically demanding - lots of running backwards and crouching and the occasional cartwheel - I just wear what I'm comfortable in. If your event is on the more formal side and you want me to suit up - say the word... and I'll buy a suit.
