I live on the Wirral with my awesome wife, Abby, and our amazing little boy, Forest. We love interior design and spending time curating our cosy home and garden. I have a soft spot for Ryan Gosling films and will sit and talk about cinematography ‘til the cows come home. Music is in my blood and always in my ears. I play guitar and drums, but can usually knock out a tune on anything else I pick up #hatersgonnahate.
All of these creative joys led me to picking up a camera with actual intent in 2017 and I’ve been doing it professionally since 2018 - I love every second of it. I love meeting new people and honestly so many of my previous couples are now people I share memes with on Instagram - I know, right? Like real friends of the modern world.
I’m all about creating an amazing experience for my couples and this starts from the moment I get your enquiry. When that notification comes through that someone has submitted a contact form - I genuinely get butterflies and can't wait to see who it's from.
I'm not interested in camera gear or how sharp and expensive a lens is - my kit is basic and minimal. What a photo is of is way more important than what camera I use to take it. Most of the gorgeous family photos on this page were shot with my smashed up iphone and they mean the world to me.
I have a real appreciation for the importance of the images I produce for my couples. Without being too morbid or depressing - we all lose friends and family along the way and to have photos of them that really capture the essence of their personality is priceless. Having said that - I'm pretty laid back and I don't take myself very seriously at all. I will probably be a silly idiot during portraits and will likely end up in a dance-off with your bridesmaids.
