Intimate city wedding photography at 60 Hope Street, Liverpool

Ant and Pete's wedding at 60 Hope Street in Liverpool was one of my faves to date. They first got in touch with me after they saw a previous one of my weddings shared on facebook - Thanks to Jude for sharing the post, you rock! I met with Ant and Pete for a drink in The Merchant in Liverpool and to say these guys were pretty relaxed about the wedding is an understatement! Oh, and a pint of Merchant Bitter will change your life, by the way, so do that.

Ant and Pete have been together for 20 years and it’s pretty damn obvious they’re meant for each other. There's something between them that makes being in their company very easy, and they couldn't be a more ideal couple to shoot for. It helps that they’re a pair of handsome devils too... so, thank you gents for being the wedding photographer's dream couple. A lot of people want a no-fuss, relaxed and chilled out wedding, but not everyone can actually pull it off. You guys nailed it! 

It was a small and intimate wedding, not too formal yet classy all the same, with less than 30 guests. The ceremony was at the beautiful St George's Hall in Liverpool, then a vintage bus collected all of us, and took us to 60 Hope Street. I'd never been to 60 Hope Street before, let alone shot a wedding there. I love shooting in new places though, especially when it's somewhere as cool as this. Checkerboard dance floor, purple and gold lights, and some awesome hipster artwork dotted all over the place. The perfect setting for shape throwing, martini drinking, and singing into a tiny sieve? Yep, you'll see...

You know you've shot a good wedding when you find yourself dancing to Mambo Number 5 with an espresso martini after you've packed your gear away. Top night lads, thanks for having me!
